Bylaws

                                                               ARTICLES OF INCORPORATION

                                                                                     of a

                                                              General Not For Profit Corporation.

 

                   Article I.   The name of the corporation is:

                       The Missouri State Association of Parliamentarians.

 

                  Article II.  The duration of the corporation is perpetual.

 

                 Article III.  Registered Office in the State of Missouri is:

                      5033 S. Spring, Kansas City, Missouri 64133 and the name of the initial Registered Agent at said address is

                      Patricia Petre Surber.

 

                 Article IV.  The first Board of Directors shall be five (5) in number, their names and address being as follows:

 

                      Mrs. Clifford P. Mason-13706 W. 81st Terr., Lenexa Kansas 66215

                      Mrs. Clyde March-4751 Cleveland, Kansas City, Kansas 66104

                      Mrs. Joseph Sembler-6212 Crisp, Kansas City, Missouri 64133

                      Mrs. C. Forest Snowden-7335 Ward Parkway, Kansas City, Missouri 64114

                      Mrs. Allen L. Cooper - 6940 Wornall Road, Kansas City, Missouri 64113

 

                Article V.  The purpose or purposes for which the corporation is organized are:

                     The object and purpose of this Association, organized as a non-profit corporation, shall be and it is exclusively for

                     education, scientific, literary and professional purposes of studying, promoting and disseminating the philosophy

                     and principles underlying the rules of deliberative assemblies; to further the growing interest in parliamentary

                     rules in both public and private schools on all levels; to bring into closer cooperation the parliamentarians of the

                     country; to inculcate and uphold the general principles of obedience to law and to lend moral aid and strength

                     to the parliamentary activities of its member as the bylaws may provide are within the meaning of Sec 501 (c) (3)

                     of the internal Revenue Code.
